Egg bread Challah

– Wheat flour – 500 g,
– 2 tablespoons of sugar,
– Salt – to taste,
– Dry yeast – 7 g,
– Butter – 75 g,
– Water – 225 ml,
– Eggs – 4 PCs.,
– Poppy – 1 tbsp.

1. Melt the butter and pour in the flour mixed with yeast and salt. Add water and mix thoroughly. Add 3 eggs and egg white. Knead dough.
2. Place the dough in a container greased with oil and leave for 1 hour.
3. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll each into a sausage.
4. Weave dough in two braids. Cover with cling film and leave for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the braids on a baking sheet, greased.
6. Brush the Challah with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes.
